The Circuit
Thanks to all teams for attending the IF Telecom Go Karting Grand Prix 2007. A fun evening was had by all, with the winners Billet Motorsport from Billet Products Pty Ltd. putting on a great performance to take home the 2007 cup.
More than 50 people attended the event with 13 teams of 3 competing to do the most laps over the 60 minute endurance race.

Qualifying starts
After the exciting 3 x 15 minute qualifying session the starting grid was as follow:

Ready to start as the sun goes down
The race saw Billet Motorsport put in some great fast laps to open up a bit of a lead in the first 20 minute stinth. Followed closely by the Big Sticker Performance team from Nexus Resourses.
After the first pit stops, we saw Boss Communications move up into second place, and the IF Telecom 2 team battle hard to hold off the IF Telecom 1 team taking the 3rd spot. After 6 close laps, IF Telecom 1 overtook IF Telecom 2 for 3rd place.
Racing down the home straight
The final 20 minute stinth showed Billet Motorsport retain their lead. L Plates put some great laps in and some very close tussles occurred in the final stages of the race. Team Bad Influence from Ranger Banner Pty Ltd brought up the rear to take home the Wooden Spoon Award.
