Meet The Team - Dean Harris - Business Development Manager

Dean, commonly referred to in the office as Deano, has been working in telecommunications since day one and has been with IF Telecom since its inception in 2005. Despite being a young man he has the industry knowledge of a veteran and now exercises his experience by managing customer relations as well as filling the position of Business Development Manager. He began his career with IF Telecom in sales and built up a solid and fiercely loyal customer base, most of whom are still with IF Telecom today. His feel for the industry and natural people skills have allowed him to evolve from being a sales representative into a point of contact who will offer up advice to all those who come looking for it. He spends a large percentage of his time talking with business owners and offering the benefit of his informed opinion, as well as helping them make the right choices when it comes to their communications. 

A born and bred Sydneysider yet living and working in Melbourne, there is a clear conflict between Deano’s roots and his current situation. In no way is this conflict more obvious than through his dedication to the Sydney Roosters and, in fact, sport in general. Such is his passion that I’m told his mates will no longer accompany him to the pub to watch a game from fear of being lynched by punters as a result of his insistence on shouting at the TV. While in the office this passion translates into high standards and happy customers, in the pub it translates into high emotions and unhappy locals. Always up for an adventure, Deano has recently begun exploring the globe by starting in Hong Kong and backpacking across South East Asia. Like so many before him he appears to have been bitten by the travel bug and, as such, is already planning his next expedition. Whatever it is and wherever it takes him you can guarantee with Deano that it will not be undertaken half-heartedly.
