Meet The Team - Ross Galanis - Business Development Manager

Ross arrived at IF Telecom in March 2009 preceded by a glowing reputation. He has thus far justified it in full, flourishing not only thanks to his comprehensive product-knowledge, but also his confident persona and ethical approach. As the old stereotype dictates, this last-mentioned character trait, rightly or wrongly, is perhaps not one you would expect to be associated with someone who works in sales. However, Ross turns this stereotype on its head with his moral compass set and unwavering. He is one of those people who displays a natural honesty and openness that reassures potential IF Telecom members that they will be well looked after. To be diplomatic to his age, suffice it to say that Ross is the most experienced member of the sales team.  He utilizes this, however, with great effect as he can provide experience-based advice and suggestions that his younger colleagues are unable to draw upon.

When it comes to letting his hair down, including the few grey strands that seem to be creeping in, Ross enjoys nothing more than sitting around with friends and family enjoying a few bottles of fine wine. Such is his love for vineyards, cellars and all things wine-related that he and his wife have gone as far as to create their own label, Galanis Wines, offering one of the finest selections in Australia. As much as he enjoys a drink, Ross also enjoys his food. Evidence of his insatiable appetite can be found in his gifted ability to demolish 3 foot-long subs in a single sitting. He clearly has the appetite of a bodybuilder but, due to his aversion to physical activity, unfortunately not the physique to match. He may argue that, as a happily married man, he no longer needs worry about his physical appearance. I am sure his wife would disagree.
