Meet The Team - Ryan Schippers - Business Development Manager

Having never worked in sales before and with next to no experience in telecommunications, Ryan was somewhat of an unknown quantity when he first arrived at IF Telecom back in 2005. Instead of being given his marching orders, however, he was taken on board in a move that was perhaps considered a bit of a gamble and Ryan has without doubt justified the decision ever since. Characterised by his softly spoken tone and laid back manner, Ryan is the true example of a silent achiever who goes about his work in such a way that all those who meet him immediately feel comfortable and at ease in his presence. Instead of promoting himself from the rooftops he lets his actions do the talking and anyone who has experience in sales could not help but be impressed with the way he does business. He currently holds the company record for sales made in consecutive days and, at still such a young age, IF Telecom’s future growth is in safe hands with him on the team.

The quiet and unassuming personality of Ryan is juxtaposed with his passion for motorbikes and all the hedonistic activities associated with being a fully fledged rev head. He is also a regular at the gym and, by all accounts, enjoys his sessions down there polishing the guns. It has been reported that he is deceptively strong despite showcasing a physical frame that, at times, has drawn comparisons with a broom. Recently he took the first step onto the property ladder and, despite his aversion to technology, has gone against his principle of understatement by investing in a television that, due to its outlandish size, is a true wonder of the modern world. Working in such a technical industry as telecommunications, it is a credit to Ryan how someone, with the technical expertise of your average pensioner, manages to be so successful. However, time and again, Ryan has shown his ability to play to his strengths and adapt his conduct to whatever challenges face him and always produce results of the highest order.
